Questions centres actually ask

Do our students need email addresses?
No. You provision the accounts: a student signs in with a name and a password, and you can paste a whole class roster in at once. We never collect student email addresses or phone numbers, which is one fewer thing for you to hold on a minor.
Can students just use the AI to do the work for them?
No — open-ended AI is switched off for students in a centre, and it's enforced on the server rather than hidden in the interface. Students get what their tutor assigns them and nothing else. Your tutors keep the full toolkit.
What exactly are we billed for?
Enrolled learners — specifically, the most you had enrolled at any one time that month. There's no minimum — if you have three learners you pay for three. Tutors and admins are free and sit on the top AI tier. Rates are graduated, so your first 20 learners are $3.00 each, the next 80 are $2.75, and so on — you're never bumped to a worse rate by crossing a threshold. The dashboard shows the running figure so an invoice is never a surprise.
What happens to a student who leaves mid-term?
Remove them from the roster and they stop counting from the next billing cycle. Their submissions and history stay attached to your centre's records, so removing a student never destroys a tutor's marking history.
Can we run more than one site?
Yes, under one academy — billing, your tutor list and your reporting all stay in one place. Be aware there's no separate campus grouping yet: classes are the unit of organisation, so most multi-site centres name their classes by location. If you need real per-campus reporting, tell us — it's a fair ask and we'd rather hear it than guess.
Can owners see what tutors message students?
Yes. Owners and admins can read any tutor–student thread, and every one of those reads is written to the activity log with who read what and when — so oversight is itself accountable.
Is the content actually NSW-specific?
The tools are built against the official NESA syllabus documents, and generation learns structure from past papers rather than reproducing them. Coverage is deepest in the subjects we've done the syllabus groundwork for and is still expanding — if a specific course matters to your centre, ask before you commit and we'll tell you where it stands.
Are we locked in?
No contract and no lock-in. It's monthly by invoice and you can cancel at any point; there's no card on file to set the academy up in the first place.
